1st Customer Review : Excellent package at a relatively budget price.
Surprisingly well built, high spec budget package - i was drawn to it as a smaller sustainiac-equipped ax, as i couldn't wait for a nice S/H Jackson Dinky DK2S! All technical aspects (neck, frets, tuners, floyd rose, sustainiac+standard pup performance) and handling (balance, access) of this SLS are brilliant. Maybe i'd get a trans red (or preferably blue) package if i bought anew, because: whilst the satin black is stealthy, i suspect it will mark and "gloss" before long. Also, i'm not a fan of the thin stripe transfer that surrounds the neck, in lieu of binding - i'd prefer without. Think it wil rub off in time. Wasn't happy with the skull inlay either, but it's a sure talking point, and nice in Mother-of-Pearl - seems harmless and friendly after a while! Fully recommended, and would buy another (non satin) if i lost it.

2nd Customer Review : Impartial review
I like Schecter's and have 4 of them and use them all! This guitar has a lot of things going for it. It seems to be built like a tank but its heaver then I thought it would be. The weight and set neck lends to an outstanding sustain without the sustainiac engaged. The Floyd 1000 was tight, felt great and held tune. The shape and upper fret access are really nice and I'm completely sold on the Satin black finish. No finger print marks every time you touch is and its slippery feel lends to a very fast neck. I bought this because of the sustainiac and this is where I have a couple of issues. I read all about this thing on the sustainiac web-site and knew what to expect but bought it anyway. The problem is the effect takes a couple of seconds to develop in the mix or harmonic modes. A couple of seconds is forever in a lead especially if you're a shredder. In the normal mode it will sustain forever. The problem there is that it interferes with pinch harmonics. If you're an accomplished...
3rd Customer Review : Pretty sweet...
Right out of the box... A quick tuning... And this guitar was ready to go.
I bought the guitar for the Sustainer pickup. If you know what to expect from the Sustainiac Pickup, you won't be disappointed. It does for me. everything I expected.
And the pickups sound pretty good, too. There is a nice range of tonal possibilities with this guitar.
I had never played a Shecter guitar before this one. I am VERY happy with the feel of the neck and the action. Almost surprisingly so.
I have played for decades and own many guitars.
You would have to be very particular to be disappointed purchasing this guitar.
