1st Customer Review : Delightful to play
I am really a keyboard and sax play who started on guitar as my first instrument many years ago and now am returning to it simply for the love of music and the desire for multi-instrument proficiency. I recall playing a guitar whose string height and tautness relative to the fret board caused some discomfort to my fingertips. Additionally I disliked its shape relative to a guitar played by a friend. Now that I was returning to guitar I wanted a decent one. This Schecter is perfect for me - good looks, strings that are very gentle/soft on the fingers, excellent response to fingering, very good tonal reproduction (I use an excellent sounding Roland Cube 80XL) and well built. Try it and you'll love it.

2nd Customer Review : Fantastic Value, Versatile and Beautiful Sound
I am a hobbiest and for those one guitar budget needs, this $500 guitar more than fit the bill.
It has beautiful color, fit and finish
Very smooth, confident and comfortable feel.
It plays beautifully: The sound is extremely clear & strong.
The ability to play single coil just adds another whole layer of sounds
It works like this:
If you see it, then you have to pick it up..
If you pick it up, then your hands just start to play it..
If you start to play it, then you have to keep on playing
I purchased this guitar with a Fender Mustang II amp and the modeling of the amp really allows the versatility of this guitar to shine: metal to jazz to beach to blues. Bigtime fun.
If you find the $1,000+ guitars out of reach..this one is absolutely worth your consideration.
3rd Customer Review : Great midrange guitar
Aesthetics: It's hard to believe I've owned this guitar for 1.5 years at this point, because I still delight in playing it and simply staring at its wonderful body every day. This guitar is beautiful, The contrast between the chrome and subtly translucent black cherry body will never cease to enrapture passersby, and it feels great to hold and play. Even the headstock, which I originally though was a bit too metal for me (I realize what that sounds like), has grown on me.
Sound: I'm afraid I don't have the experience to comment on the sound with any real authority, but I'll still say that it does sound great to my ears and harmonics do come through quite nicely. The many reviews of this guitar and the Duncan Designed pickups that I read before my purchase all raved about its sound-for-buck, but I've also heard that DD pickups can be somewhat hit-or-miss because of the lowered quality assurance involved with cheaper PUs, sometimes matching Seymour Duncans and other times...
