1st Customer Review : Great metal axe!!
I've had this guitar for about a month now, after replacing/upgrading from an Ibanez RG220 that died a few months ago. The EMG pickups are the most noticeable difference between my old Ibanez and the Schecter. They are extremely crisp and edgy compared to the more rounded-off tone of the Ibanez humbuckers that I was used to. The playability of the fretboard and set-up of the bridge is a big step up from my Ibanez as well. All-in-all, the Schecter Damien Elite is a top-value guitar for the $500 price point. If you're a metal guitarist, I encourage you to take it for a "test drive".

2nd Customer Review : Amazing guitar for the price
I have had this guitar for about 4 months now and it is amazing. I have owned several lower end guitars (Ibanez's, Jackson's, ESPs', as well as Schecter's) and this one actually made me sell all but one. I have been playing for 15 years and I am more serious then your average player but by no means a professional. I was looking to record some original songs and I was having a HUGE problem with intonation with my lower end guitars. The intonation on this guitar is not "perfect" (no guitars really are though!) but it is close enough that it was not a problem.
One thing to keep in mind is that this guitar uses "Active" pickups so you will need to change the batteries every once in a while. Also if you are coming from passive pickups and using effects units like line 6, digitech, etc you might try to lower the distortion. This is my first set of active pickups and what I have noticed is that the output from these pickups is louder then passive pickups. (It is almost like it...
3rd Customer Review : Bad Frets
I'm sad to have to give this beautiful guitar only one star because the frets are terribly aligned causing total loss of sound in some cases. I'm even more disappointed that this is fourth defective item I've received from amazon that don't work. Gonna cancel my prime membership and shop elsewhere I guess. I've lost complete consumer confidence in amazon and their products. I'm beginning to think they bulk defective products on purpose to try and make more profit or something.
