1st Customer Review : Chock Full of Metally Goodness
I noticed the only review was from someone who isn't familiar with how a floyd Rose works and dinged it for that, so I figured I'd chime in for those looking at this guitar. It's a really nice guitar, and at the lightning deal price it is way more guitar than you can normally get at that price point. It has active emg 81/85's (which are worth around $200 themselves) along with a floyd rose 1000 (description says floyd rose special, but it has the 1000 which is even better), so it is well worth the price. If you don't like the EMG's plop in some pickups you prefer and sell the EMGs, they are good pickups and easy to find a buyer for. The floyd is set up by schecter, and assuming it hasn't been thrown about by the carrier or sitting for too long in the warehouse, it will still sound great when it gets there. Mine was almost perfectly in tune when it arrived and after a few divebombs, it was still on the button, bridge was parallel to the guitar body, set up for E standard tuning...

2nd Customer Review : Great guitar for the money
This is basically a Schecter Elite FR which retails regularly between $550 and $600. "Regular price" is $830, but no one ever paid that much for it.
The only two differences are the inlays, Abalone crosses for the Elite and pearloid flames on this model, and the Elite has what is arguably a LOWER quality of tremolo in the FR Special; this model has the FR 1000, which is made to original specs and is for all purposes identical to the flagship Floyd Rose Tremolo.
They are virtually identical, but this model is arguably superior for $30-$50 less.
I snapped it up on the lightning deal @ $320, it showed up yesterday strung, perfectly tuned and undamaged. It may be the best deal I have ever gotten on a new guitar.
3rd Customer Review : Quality That Cannot Be Beaten In The Same Price Range
General Experience -
Where to start? Well, I picked this guitar up for under $400 with the lightning deal, which is an amazing price for a guitar of such fine build. The guitar was shipped right away by Amazon, and arrived at my house only a few days later, right on schedule. Since it was somewhat cold outside when I received the guitar, I let it sit in the box for just half an hour or so to let it adjust to the rapid change in temperature. (Make sure you do this if the temperature of your house is significantly different than the temperature outside since there is a chance of the finish on the guitar getting damaged just by being exposed to the change in temperature.) Anyways, I then opened the guitar, which was securely wrapped in some very protective packaging. The guitar was already completely set to play; the strings were tuned perfectly and the tremolo system was ready for use. I honestly did not even have to re-tune the guitar strings for at least a couple of weeks...
