It has a strong fundamental, and it sounds sweet and plesant from the deepest note to the highest note. That is important to me. Harmonics ring out loud and clear, which is also important to me. I find the sound palette of this instrument to be well suited to all styles of music that I play, and I would imagine it to do well.

This bass is absolutely amazing. I snagged it for around 200 dollars on sale and I could not be happier. It plays like a dream. It sounds amazing. It looks beautiful. The problem I had was the tuning machines it came with were bad quality. Two of them would have trouble tightening the strings and sometimes slip. One of them would not tighten at all. I took them apart and they were broken/defective. This could have been shipping, but I doubt it. After getting some grover tuning machines everything was perfect. Would be 5/5 except for the tuning machines.
