1st Customer Review : Excellent guitar!
Been wanting one of these for a long time. Recently these landed on an Amazon sale list (15% off) and I couldn't resist.
Guitar came well-packed. The setup out of the box was excellent. There was a sticker on the back control cover stating that it had been set up by Schecter USA. I believe it. It was very playable right out of the box.
The tones from this guitar are fantastic! In humbucker mode the pickups rock hard. They're dual coil humbuckers but instead of AlNiCo bar magnets under the coils they have oversize AlNiCo slugs that are flush with the top of the pickups. Pickups are wound a little hot. The bridge pickup ohms out at @ 11.5k. They sound articulate and the bridge pickup has a wicked singing midrange for leads. Nice low end too. Nice balance overall. For a sub-$500 guitar these are the bests pickups I've ever encountered! In single coil mode the tone changes a little towards the thinner side. But like any other coil tapping guitar I've owned it isn't a big change...

2nd Customer Review : LEFT HAND SCHECTER PT
There are hardly any decent left hand electrics on the market. Until I bought one of these. I've seen a righty at the local music store and decided to pick it up just to see what it felt like in my hands. Even though I'm a lefty and the guitar was a righty, it felt very comfortable. Once I finally recieved the lefty one I ordered it was even better yet. This guitar felt and played like smooth butter. The schecter super rock pickups are awesome too. I have a schecter c1 exotic with the super rock pickups so I knew the PT was going to sound awesome. The super rock pups sound like hot rodded seymour duncan JB's if that helps. Lots of rich harmonics and no notes get lost in a full power chord. If you leftys are lookin for a kick ass sounding and playing guitar and don't have alot of money to burn. Then definately give this PT a try.
