This is a wonderful instrument. The quality is superb, the sound is great, the aesthetics are fantastic and the price can not be beat. This same guitar was discounted 40% during Christmas at music stores and still cost $400.00.

2nd Customer Review : Another great metal guitar by Schecter
I recently purchased my first 2 Schecters, a Damien Elite and a Jeff Loomis 7 string. The Loomis arrived in flawless condition and only needed a few strings tweaked. This Damien Elite needed a little more fine tuning. The four thickest strings were buzzy at the top of the fretboard, so all I did was raise one side of the bridge a very little bit and tune the strings. Now it sounds great! Also, the tone control knob was loose, but all I had to do was tighten it with the provided Allen wrench.
The finish really is amazing. It's the shiniest guitar I own. This guitar came with Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys on it, in case anyone is wondering. I've been more of an Ibanez fan, but these Schecters sure are impressive, especially with the EMG pickups and extra jumbo frets. The only thing that bothers me is the bolt-on neck. It seems to make it a little difficult to get to frets 22-24, but I'll adjust.
Considering the deal I got from Amazon, this was an outstanding purchase...
3rd Customer Review : Fret board was warped on arrival
I took the guitar in to get a basic setup done (which is expected when buying a guitar from the internet). Local guitar tech took one look down the fretboard from the head and saw that it was warped. I'm a little upset but Its not a deal breaker for me and this axe. Its just to good of a deal to pass up. I am sending this one back and Amazon is going to ship me another one right away. The guitar I received as replacement from my original has been great. Had none of the issues my first one had. Fretboard is in good shape, action was nearly perfect out of the box, didn't require hardly any adjustment. 4.5/5..great axe for the price I payed. The price has risen $200 since I made the purchase, glad I bought when I did :]
