1st Customer Review : The best thing that Schecter has ever made.
I have waited a while to write this review. It's been about ten months since my purchase of this guitar. I have taken a while to get comfortable and understand it. I have a lot of experience with this axe, so here is my analysis
Action:
I will leave the best for last. This guitar has a smooth, narrow neck. The frets can be a little bit harsh while you're sliding. This is DEFINITELY not the best guitar for any kind of shredding or complex fretwork. On the comfort scale, I would probably give fretting a 3/5, but this is easily justified by the price.
Quality:
This guitar is made in Korea, like all other Schecter Diamond Series. That said, this guitar is very solid, and has quite a bit of weight to it. This is not a common trait for Schecter Diamond Series. I personally love the weight distribution. I don't ever play sitting down, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it balances on my knee, but it feels good while its on a strap. The body is made of alder,...

2nd Customer Review : Really well made Tele Deluxe style with tons of options
I recently ordered this guitar from Amazon and I've really been blown away by how well made this Schecter is. Not only is it great looking with an awesome sunburst finish, double body binding and mother of pearl blocks on the neck, but the action was almost perfect out of the box. The nut is Graphtec and the tuners are exactly what I would've used if I'd built this guitar from the ground up. Honestly, the only thing I don't love hardware-wise is the bridge, but I'm planning on putting in a Bigsby anyway.
I also own a MIM Telecaster Deluxe and it's a toss-up to say which one is better, though I paid almost twice as much for the Fender. The pickups are much, much brighter and more versatile in the PT Fastback, but I'd say the neck on the Fender is one of the best necks in existence.
