1st Customer Review : A versatile guitar with a beautiful sound
I got this guitar because I was looking for a mix of a good range of tones and a great look. The vintage sunburst mixed with the body style and pick guard makes this one heck of an eye-grabbing guitar.
The pickups can be switched between humbucker and single-coil by pushing down or pulling up on its corresponding tone knob, giving it a very wide range of tones. It has a very good clean sound, and works great with light overdrive too. It doesn't seem to get the greatest tone with very heavy distortion or overdrive though, so I wouldn't want to use it to play Metal with.
My only bad experience with this is when I pulled up on the bridge pickup tone knob to switch to single coil, and the knob came right off! It was being held on with a small piece of adhesive tape, and was easily put back on without needing new tape. It only seems to do this in hot summer temperatures.
