1st Customer Review : I LOVE THIS GUITAR.
Boom.
This guitar is an amazing intermediate players guitar.
It sounds like heaven raining down chocolate bunnies from above.
And it melts down like a good fondue with its amazing knoby-thing that changes it the pickups from the roaring double humbucker, to a softer sound of the single coil.
I am in love <3

2nd Customer Review : No complaints so far (UPDATED)
I ended up returning it, and taking it from a four-star review down to a three-star. Why?
It boils down to the pickup selector switch. I mentioned in the original review that it was badly positioned, and I found that I was constantly hitting the switch with my picking hand while playing. And since I generally play with the neck pickup selected, this meant that I was constantly having my playing interrupted by an abrupt change in tone. In addition to being badly-positioned, the switch itself is too easy to flip -- it takes only a light touch to move it out of position.
It's a shame because in most other respects the guitar was great, but that pickup switch was a deal breaker.

I needed a plain-jane Telecaster-style guitar with some tonal flexibility (humbucker/single-coil switch), a comfortable neck, and a quality build. After doing a lot of research and considering the Fender...
3rd Customer Review : My new #1
I picked up a shopworn example from MF (it had a pretty sizable ding in the side) for about half price, and this thing is incredible. The fit, finish (other than the aforementioned ding), playability and tone are incredible and my Fender MIM standard tele gets played a LOT less these days. The Schecter Superrock II pickups sound great clean or with overdrive/distortion, and the push-pull coil splitting pot gives a ton of tonal options. My only complaint is that this is a rather heavy guitar. It's not cheap, but given that it's the same price as an MIM standard, IMO it's a considerable step up.
