1st Customer Review : Schecter C-1 Custom
This is a great guitar--got it super-fast from Amazon, as usual. The action and playability are excellent, and access to the upper frets is good as well. I'm a huge Schecter fan (this is my fourth one), and they are well known for building quality instruments with good components at [relatively] affordable prices...that said, I give this only 4 stars because of the following:
*The tone knob on my instrument was not completely secured, so it jiggles around a bit within the body of the guitar--but only if I intentionally move it around. Since I pretty much just dime all the knobs out anyways and rarely mess with them, this isn't a big deal for me, but it does seem like something that Schecter's quality control folks should have caught before shipping.
*There is a minor blemish on the top of the neck (by where the top position markers are that are facing the guitar player) on the third fret; the finish has a small 'bump' in it that I do notice occasionally, but...
