1st Customer Review : Fast Action
First I would like to give Amazon 5 stars for the very speedy super-saver shipping. This guitar arrived so fast I was shocked! It also arrived in immaculate condition, looking better than the average "new" guitar you find on the shelf, as it had no blemishes, no soiled strings--not even fingerprints!
Secondly, this thing was set up perfectly at the factory with .009 strings. I normally would play .010, but the action is SO LOW with no fret buzz that I couldn't bear to make a change. I've had it a month now and still can't decide whether to change gauges or not because I don't want to mess with such a beautiful setup. If you play .009's on a 24.75 scale guitar, you'd love this setup.
The downsides to this guitar are that a) it will only fit into a case made by Schecter due to the extra width of the lower bout, b) the frets are medium and not jumbo, and c) the pickup configuration is odd and switching the pickup selector can bring suprise phase and volume...
